Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Program coordination and execution
• Coordination with filmmakers/artists
• Primary selection of applications
• Content creation for social media and festival brochure
• Collaboration with designers and photographers
• Coordination with program directors and curators on execution logistics
• Communication with delegates and tech team
• Organization and categorization of digital data and assets

Additional Duties:
This role may require undertaking ad-hoc tasks, which will not significantly change the nature of the position.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in contemporary writing for visual art and cinema
• Ability to execute tightly packed program schedules
• Audience engagement skills
• Sharp marketing and promotional media content skills
• Knowledge in any aspect of filmmaking is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Strategic thinking and coordination skills
• Team player with the ability to meet deadlines

Background

• 1-2 years of experience in relevant fields
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Diploma in Filmmaking, Film Studies, Design, Animation, Visual Communication
• Others with qualifying skill sets may also apply
