Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants must:

• Be a legal entity with at least three years of establishment.
• Not focus solely on profit.
• Be located in Union of the Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, or Mozambique.
• Follow compliance rules set by the IOC and AFD and be free from restrictions or sanctions by partners.

Eligible Activities

This grant supports:

• Recurring cultural or artistic events like festivals, exhibitions, and competitions.
• Thematic meetings including conferences and seminars.
• Workshops focused on organizational management of cultural structures.

Special emphasis is on promoting gender equality through:

• Events and meetings that enhance women’s participation and representation.
• Workshops to develop policies against discrimination and gender-based violence.

Funding Details

Eligible Costs:

• Staff salaries, consultant fees, and support for event participants.
• Venue rental, catering, artist fees, and equipment rentals.
• Production of communication tools and small equipment purchases under €250.

Grant Amount: Up to €10,000.

Responsibilities of Grant Recipients

Recipients must manage funds responsibly as per the IOC’s financial and administrative guidelines. The IOC may conduct solvency checks before and during the grant period to ensure proper use of funds.
